In accordance with clause 2F of the UGC ACT of 1956, Om Sterling Global University was founded under the Haryana Private Universities Act of 2006. Promoter Om Welfare Society, registered under the Society Registration Act (number 00353), is behind it. Dedicated to achieving its vision, mission, and goals via academic achievement in all areas of knowledge and abilities, it was founded on October 17, 2013.

The university occupies 40 acres of fully built institutional land and features a verdant campus, state-of-the-art facilities, and a top-notch learning environment. The campus's vision and mission have guided its design and development, which has resulted in an eco-friendly environment and a welcoming atmosphere that fosters a passion for learning.
